Pitch Ceremony

The ceremony of the 1st edition of H-INNOVA - Pitch Ceremony took place on September 22nd, 2020 and, due to the pandemic context of COVID-19, it was transmitted online from the Center for Studies of the Atlantic in Funchal.
This is an initiative of the Regional Government of Madeira in partnership with PremiValor Consulting and other leading companies, in particular Vodafone, Tekever, Medtronic, JamHub, ZettaGene, MedApp and Ligandal in collaboration with national and international Universities.

AI4HEALTH
AI4HEALTH is an artificial intelligence software capable of predicting whether an individual is about to have a heart attack - up to 5 minutes before the event occurs - based on previous electrocardiogram (ECG) data". AI4HEALTH was developed by a team of students from the Instituto Superior Técnico of the University of Lisbon, comprising Filipa Pinto, Miguel Folque, Nassir Cassamo, and Professor Susana Vieira.
